Join Rudy at Yoga for Life in Charlotte, NC! Experience three levels of Gentle Yoga practice. Immerse in a progressive practice weekend, exploring the Mild, Medium and Strong varieties of Dynamic Gentle Yoga (DGY) practice. Attend one or all of the sessions this weekend. (See schedule below.)

Mild DGY is accessible, empowering Dynamic Gentle Yoga; delicious, slow movement for stress-relief and increased flexibility.

Medium DGY explores a sequence of essential Dynamic Gentle Yoga postures rooted in alignment, breath and core stability.

Strong DGY dives into deeper practice, holding poses longer to build energy and stimulate the flow of prana.

The Sunday Teacher Training Module, Stimulate and Integrate: The Power of Prana, will be an exploration of the methods for taking students deeper in their practice by guiding an extended sustaining phase of the pose. Learn how to guide students to sustain the pose for deep release.
Master leading students in extended holdings with safety and compassion. Sharpen your language and tools for guiding this deep, transformational aspect of yoga practice

    • to set a clear context of the purpose, benefits, precautions and contraindications
    • for designing a progressive sequence to increase toleration for sensation
    • to strengthen the witness, seat of intuition and insight
    • to identify the specific integration activities that anchor this depth experience
    • to guide a yoga practice that nurtures change organically

     

    Students welcome to: Friday and Saturday sessions
    Teachers encouraged to attend: Fri, Sat and Sunday
    Teachers: Saturday afternoon is a pre-requisite for Sunday
