Hi Diane,

Thanks for your inquiry about the Gentle Yoga in Tuscany program. I have attached an information and registration form. It will answer many of the other questions you will have about this trip. The trip fee is $1979.

The trip price includes:

Yoga: Morning and afternoon gentle yoga, (everyday except the all-day beach/hot springs outing and departure morning).

Accommodations: Dormitory style rooms (2-4 persons) plus a few double rooms for couples, all with shared baths. All accommodations are at Podere Ebbio, Tuscany, Italy.

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Ebbio or prepared picnic-style by Ebbio. All meals are vegetarian. A house wine is served at meals. There is no cash bar. Espresso is available for a small charge. Three lunches are up to your choice in Sienna, Castellina in Chianti and Volterra to enhance the exploration of Tuscan cuisine.

Excursions: Excursions (depending upon weather) are planned to Siena, the Mediterranean, Monteriggioni, San Gimignano, Castellina in Chianti and Volterra. Ground transportation, by van or car, is provided.

Airport pick-up/drop-off: Pick-up Sun. Oct. 3, 11:30am. Drop-off Sun. Oct. 10, 9am.

Trip Price Does Not Include:

Round-trip airfare, bus and/or rail transportation to Florence, passports, meals in transit or outside of Ebbio, and lunch on the three excursion days, health and wellness services, gratuities, horse-back riding excursions, any items of a personal nature.

I’m happy to answer any other questions that may come up.

P.S. I tried to respond directly to your email address and received a message that your mailbox was unavailable. I hope you get this response.

All the best,

I am interested in information on your 2010 trip to Tuscany.

I am practicing gentle yoga with Peter Gibbon who was a student of yours at Kripalu. I also practice with some of your CDs at home.

Hi Rudy,
I am a YTT grdauate of the just finshed August 09 program. You taught our morning Sadahana the first week and generously shared your lesson plan and music with us . I loved the gentle opening that your class provided especially with all the vigorus work we had during the day. I'm beginning to teach here in CT and would like to offer your CD in a drawing for students who attend my class in October. I think this will really help give folks a reason to try a new teacher. Thaqnks for all your help and encouragment!
Jai,

Lisa,

Thanks for your response to the CD class attendance promo idea. I'll pop a Gentle III into the mail for you today. And thanks for your kind words about the Gentle IV sequence. You say it well, "finding something new in places you were already quite familiar with." I think of this gentle style as "Gentle and Deep." Glad it worked so well for you. My availability for your group trip will be available in my newsletter. I'll send one out again in about 6 weeks. Or you can ask when you start to explore dates.

All the best,

Rudy

Hi Elizabeth,

Great to hear from you. I think you'reexactly right. This can be a way to encourage folks to try the gentle classes. I'm not sure what you mean by "I hate to think of leaving out our true gentle people." Let me know. I'm not sure they have to be left out.
Send me your mailing address and I'll pop a CD in the mail.

All the best,

Rudy

Thanks Rudy. I really enjoyed your presentation of Chip Hartranft’s discussion of Prakriti and Purusa. It is fun the way you hold on to the concepts and share your amazement at the revelations.

I find the distinction of consciousness and pure awareness to be slippery at the same time that it is utterly simple. It is a little like having consciousness turning the focus dial as it tries to capture pure awareness on camera. Always just out of focal range... yet in a way saturating everything and entirely present. The primary concept, that consciousness can evolve to stillness and reflect pure awareness, is so huge that it is no wonder it takes so much practice to even approach it.
Looking forward to what comes next.
