Hi Margaret,

Thanks for your response. Sounds like you have the perfect classes to use a Gentle Series CDs for an attendence promo. Be aware they are CDs not DVDs. And send me your mailing address and I'll pop your choice of Gentle Series CDs (I, II, III or IV) into the mail for you.

warm regards,

rudy

Lisa,

Thanks for your response to the CD class attendance promo idea. I'll pop a Gentle III into the mail for you today. And thanks for your kind words about the Gentle IV sequence. You say it well, "finding something new in places you were already quite familiar with." I think of this gentle style as "Gentle and Deep." Glad it worked so well for you. My availability for your group trip will be available in my newsletter. I'll send one out again in about 6 weeks. Or you can ask when you start to explore dates.

All the best,

Rudy

Hi Elizabeth,

Great to hear from you. I think you'reexactly right. This can be a way to encourage folks to try the gentle classes. I'm not sure what you mean by "I hate to think of leaving out our true gentle people." Let me know. I'm not sure they have to be left out.
Send me your mailing address and I'll pop a CD in the mail.

All the best,

Rudy

Thanks Rudy. I really enjoyed your presentation of Chip Hartranft’s discussion of Prakriti and Purusa. It is fun the way you hold on to the concepts and share your amazement at the revelations.

I find the distinction of consciousness and pure awareness to be slippery at the same time that it is utterly simple. It is a little like having consciousness turning the focus dial as it tries to capture pure awareness on camera. Always just out of focal range... yet in a way saturating everything and entirely present. The primary concept, that consciousness can evolve to stillness and reflect pure awareness, is so huge that it is no wonder it takes so much practice to even approach it.
Looking forward to what comes next.

now in Geneva for few days and friday back to work at Ebbio!
It was great to see you in your temple and thank you for the warm welcome.Too short but intense for sure.
See you soon at Monteriggioni, one R, not two in case you want to correct the spelling.

Rudy-
I would love to run an attendance promotional give-away for my yoga studio this fall. I've attended a gentle class with you several times when I've visited Kripalu in the past and I love it and know my students will love the opportunity to win your DVD. I teach a gentle Kripalu yoga class and a prenatal yoga class. I continually promote consistency in yoga practice rather than intensity. Thanks for all you do! Margaret Kirschner

Jai Rudi ~ I love this idea!!! For 5 years I've offered a gentle flow class at a nearby church. Almost everyone attends on a drop-in basis and almost never by the series (discounted). This seems tailor maid for me. My idea is in the email announcing the restart from summer break, to tell them the fun strategy of each time they attend, they can enter the drawing for your cd. I'll give them until the end of October (about 6 classes) before I hold the drawing. Some are also considering a Kripalu trip, so I'll also tie in your availability there to the info about your cd. I'd like to offer cd #3. Many many thanks,

Lisa D. Bryan (Kripalu RYT500), 2729 W. Chew Street, Allentown PA 18104

PS I loved your early am gentle class when I was at Kripalu in March this year. You did the flow from cd 4 - it dove into places I thought I had already gone into maximally. Very beautiful to find something new there w/your superb guidance.

What a great idea! As a Kripalu trained teacher, I thoroughly enjoyed taking your classes. My partner and I recently opened a yoga studio. Our policy is drop in, which I think is great for the students, but sometimes people don't come as often as they might. I have noticed that most people really enjoy the Gentle classes if they let themselves try them. Often the "type A" people feel the need to do Moderate or Vigorous only, but if they can only attend a Gentle class due to schedule, they are often quite surprised. Perhaps this incentive is another way to get those people to try the Gentle classes. I hate to think of leaving out our true "gentle people" though. This is a great idea, that I think we can really expand upon.

Rudy:
My friends have met you at kripalu and told me about ebbio.
I have been practicing about 9 years, a moderate practice with my fair share of injuries.
I would like to know what levels would enjoy this trip.
Also I am single and would be traveling alone.
Please send more info to me, including cost.
Ciao
